This is a $1.6M book of business consisting of VIP and retail accounts.  Very busy desk
 PRIMARY FUNCTION                                                                                                                                                  
The Customer Service Rep is responsible for providing prompt, courteous and knowledgeable service to clients. Responsible for all functions relating to the support and service to an assigned book of business. Up sell to existing clients and new business.
 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES                                                                                                                                                
  1. Review and process all renewals and endorsements.
  2. Provide quotes (new or remarket) for automobile, property, watercraft, excess liability and other personal lines.
  3. Cross sell / up-sell when possible.
  4. Build customer loyalty, ensuring communication is open and efficient.
  5. Inputs all information including conversation notes in Agency Manager system accurately and efficiently and in the file.
  6. Inputs all information in insurance company portals.
  7. Ensures all accounts are billed and collected appropriately and in keeping with office policy.
  8. Ensures all abeyance items are completed in a timely fashion.
  9. Claim reporting and follow through to resolution.
  10. Investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues and escalate when necessary.
  11. Keep up to date on product and industry knowledge and attend product and sales training as required.
  12. Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
External:                             Clients, Insurers, Claims Adjustors….
Internal Relationships:     Department Manager, Account Executives, Tech Assistants, Admin, Accounting Dept.
 RECOMMENDED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS                                                                                            
Educations:                         High School Diploma
RIBO License and other provincial licensing as required Community College or University Degree an asset
Experience & Skills:          

Strong customer service orientation
Strong organizations skills with ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written 
Positive and confident attitude
Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients Able to work individually and as part of a team Professional appearance and telephone manners
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); Agency Manager (TAM) and other company portals
Minimum 3 years’ experience in managing a book of business
